Senior Companion

Home Care Assistance of RI is a growing home care support service located in southern RI . We serve families throughout the state of RI. We are hiring passionate, reliable and responsible CNAs and Companions to work with our home care company.
We provide ongoing education and training to ensure Knowledgeable, Kind and Engaging quality care services. Dementia training and experience preferred [will provide training], fluent English speaking and a commitment to preserving Dignity, Personhood and providing Life Enriching Service. Our mission is to "Change the Way the World Ages" through education, advocacy and supportive care service.

ProfessionalExpectations:
Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work within designated time.
Utilizes time reporting and documentation system according to policy standards.
Adheres to dress code with a conservative appearance, professional casual business attire, neat and clean.
Wears identification while on duty. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
Implements the Home Care Assistance service model
Completes ALL annual education requirements and assigned learning modules in a timely fashion.
Maintains regulatory requirements,Ethics and organizational policies.
Identifies and communicates findings to the Care Manager or designated Supervisor.
Works as a team player.
Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, as well as annual reviews.

EXPERIENCE:
Home Care and/or Nursing Home: 2 years
Working with Older Seniors
